Meet Bill Borowsky
A lifelong resident of the Point Pleasant area, Bill graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School in 1981, then began pursuing his version of the American Dream as a successfully self-employed entrepreneur.
Bill raised his family, built his business, and made a life in Point Pleasant. The Point has been good to Bill, and he was inspired to enter public service to give back to a community that gave so much to him, joining the Point Pleasant Borough Council in 2012.
Bill's Platform
✓ Increase Transparency and Accountability of Point Pleasant Finances
Enforce caps on fees for services paid for by Point Pleasant taxpayers and stop the mayor’s $50 million Point Pleasant water privatization scheme.
✓ Stop Wasteful Spending of Taxpayer Dollars
Private interests should not benefit from public money. Bill will end the current mayor’s policy of cash grabs and giveaways that will ultimately be paid for by Point Pleasant taxpayers
✓ Stop The Overdevelopment of Point Pleasant Properties
To protect our community’s vital seaside character and resident quality of life, the overdevelopment of Point Pleasant lands must end.
✓ Upgrade Point Pleasant Recreation Properties
Rather than continue developer-driven overcrowding, Bill proposes upgrading Point Pleasant’s properties for all residents to enjoy rather than a fortunate few.
✓ Increase Resident Involvement
Point Pleasant is changing. Younger families are moving in with different needs and Point Pleasant governance needs their input.

As a parent who raised two wonderful children in Point Pleasant, I’m a long-time promoter of increasing athletic opportunities for our youth and the benefit to all community members by having clean, safe spaces for outdoor recreation.
Seeing a need for action in this department, I helped... found the Point Boro Wrestling Club, then volunteering for eight years as coach.
It also motivated me to spearhead the development of Heritage Park while serving Point Pleasant as Borough Council President.
While Heritage Park is a wonderful recreational asset, our community has surpassed it’s capacity and would benefit immensely from redevelopment of the long-vacant, three-acre field on Arnold Avenue.
As with Heritage Park, this property can be enhanced with the addition of walking paths, benches, low-level lighting, trees, fields for our many youth sports leagues to play and practice on, and racket courts.
We could go further by repurposing the recently decommissioned water plant as a pocket park.
These and most other improvements can be performed by Point Pleasant’s Public Works Department, without the need for costly outside developers, helping contain costs.
As your next mayor, I will continue working to preserve Point Pleasant as a healthy, clean, and safe environment for all residents, but especially young families and sincerely ask for your vote this coming Tuesday, November 8.

Bill Borowsky is the Mayor who will listen and put Point Pleasant over politics. It's time for a change!
www.billbformayor.comExciting news!
I’ve earned the support of another Bill who put Point Pleasant over politics - Mayor Bill Schroeder.
Following my first election to Point Pleasant Council, we worked to deliver the best possible services and outcomes to our community, though we didn’t always ...agree on specifics.
By disagreeing over details respectfully, we defended our priorities while seeking the principled compromises required to meet resident needs and expectations.
One agreement of ours - believing Point Pleasant deserves honest government, effectively administered, and held accountable by residents.
Thank you, Bill, for your endorsement!
