Point Pleasant, NJ – Point Pleasant Borough Councilman, Bill Borowsky, a business owner, community leader, and public servant today officially announced his candidacy for Point Pleasant Mayor. Thanking the many residents and community leaders who encouraged him to enter the race, Borowsky stated:

“As a longtime resident, I’ve been honored to serve Point Pleasant as a businessman, elected official, and founding supporter of local groups and charities, experiences that have instilled within me an abiding affection for the wonderful community we call home.

The one constant I hear from people I meet who seek me out daily to share their concerns regarding the future of Point Pleasant is ‘It’s time for a change.’

I agree, and my passion to do this job is fueled by Point Pleasant’s need for a strong leader with clear priorities who will build consensus by listening before acting as the independent voice of all residents.
